Greg Land Takes Rob Liefeld Approach to Iron Man #2 Marvel NOW! Cover

Marvel has revealed the cover to Marvel NOW! Iron Man #2, showing an influence from comics legend Rob Liefeld.

Check out the new cover for Iron Man #2 below, in which Greg Land makes the odd choice of placing a floating, miniature Tony Stark on top of a larger background which features a convoluted mishmash of characters. The Outhouse is not sure exactly what this cover implies is happening in this issue, but our best bet is that Cobra Commander, in his new battle armor, used stolen Pym particles to shrink himself down and enter Iron Man's head. Stark must shrink himself down and combat this thread by standing around in a suit with his hands in his pocket, looking quite dapper for a six inch tall gentleman.

Legendary comics artist Rob Liefeld pioneered this iconic cover style, as you can see from the Onslaught Reborn #4 cover posted below. The potential here for multiple exponential levels of "swiping" when these two artists are combined will be interesting to see.
