Marvel announced that Jason Latour would be taking over writing duties on Winter Soldier from Ed Brubaker come January 2013. Latour, whose past work includes Loose Ends and Untold Tales of the Punisher MAX, stated that he hoped to explore the delineation between Bucky Barnes and the Winter Soldier. No word on who would join Latour on art duties.
The announcement also seems to mark the end of Ed Brubaker's Marvel career. While Brubaker had scaled back his Marvel work to focus on creator-owned work, he had previously stated that he was committed to Winter Soldier for the foreseeable future.
