Several mutants are glaring at readers in the new cover of All New X-Men #3.

Continuing the trend of the series' first two covers, All New X-Men #3 reveals several more characters glaring into space, presumably at readers about to pick up the comic. While the first two covers showed the original X-team and Wolverine's staff at his school, this issue shows off several characters that have been commonly labelled as villains in recent months. Like the previous covers, these characters look very angry, presumably at the turn for the mediocre the X-books have taken recently, or in pain due to the sharp looking rocks on which the characters are standing.
It also might spoil the final two issues of Avengers vs. X-Men, thus disappointing legions of fans who had been looking forward to seeing certain characters getting killed off for being possessed by a corrupting cosmic entity.
