Today, Nickelodeon announced that they have fired their President of Animation and longtime Head of Preschool Programming, Brown Johnson. The reason is possibly due to the startling ratings decline the network has had in the past few months.
For those who don't know her work, Johnson's most famous achievement at the network was being behind such programming as Dora the Explorer and Blue's Clues. One of the final projects that she had headed up was the CGI animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is set to debut in just a few weeks.
