Support Cass! Day

Tomorrow August 31st is the day for Cassandra Cain fans to support said character. Want to know how? Consider this your guide.

Source: Support Cass!

So tomorrow is Support Cass-Day!! The day for Cassandra Cain fans to support their character. The initial crux of the movement is to buy the character's first issue, Batgirl vol. 1 #1 via Comixology. The other courses of action if you don't want to spend money is to bother the living heck out of DC. How do you do that? Why either tell them via their twitter, their Facebook page, contact via contact page, or mail at:

DC Comics
1700 Broadway
New York, NY 10019

Or:

Diane Nelson
President, DC Entertainment
Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc.
4000 Warner Blvd., Bldg 2, #103
Burbank, CA 91522

Yeah, no doubt this won't spur DC to do jack, but if you do buy her first issue on Comixology and it just so happens that her first issue is in the top twenty for that day's downloads. Well, I think that honors the character enough. A character who SHOULD be honored. Who SHOULD be given the due deserved.

Why you ask? Why Zechs do you defend this character to no end? I've already stated my reasons. Why I'm doing this is to respect over what the character and the ongoing of her's achieved. The character's series was not only one of the most long lasting solo female ongoings, but also it was a minority character who had one of the longest series ever written. The company that owns it would rather forget that fact, even though it's an ideal they've supposedly embraced.

Tomorrow I gladly will send money in supporting this movement even though I own the issues and trades. I'm giving the Comixlogy issues I'm purchasing to give to a friend. I suggest fans who are in the same predicament to do the same. For those wondering what the whole hub bub is about, just buy the first issue. I dare you to. It'll only cost you $1.99. If you enjoy the ride you're given then look up the rest of the run or use the Character Spotlight we had on the character to help you.

So there's all the things you need to do to support Cassandra Cain for tomorrow. Again, there's probably little chance DC will even hear this sound of the character's fanbase they make, but to have that character be on top again via the Comixlogy polls and the attempt that we fans tried our damnedest to let the company that owns her that there is fans out there willing to buy any adventures of the character. So go out there and SUPPORT CASS!!!
