DC Comics announced a follow-up to the popular JSA: The Liberty Files Elseworlds miniseries this morning. The new miniseries, entitled JSA: The Liberty Files - The Whistling Skull will be written by B. Clay Moore with art by acclaimed Starman and Ex Machina artist Tony Harris. While details are scant as to the plot, it appears that Wildcat, Hourman and Dr. Midnight will all make appearances in the series, which will take place in WWII Europe.
Harris told DC's blog that the project has been in several development for several years. We can only hope that this project will be a better read than Moore's much-maligned Subway/Justice League comic, which featured Aquaman assuring Batman that he wouldn't swim alone after being ambushed by scuba divers off the beaches of Hawaii. Subway snark aside, this looks like it'll be a fun, solid series and can hopefully continue James Robinson's work in rebuilding the JSA brand.
