Marvel Kills All Suspense for AvX with AvX: Consequences #1 Cover Reveal (SPOILERS)

Were you wondering whether Cyclops would be defeated in Avengers vs. X-Men #1? Wonder no longer.

Marvel sent out a press release for Avengers vs. X-Men: Consequences today. The five issue weekly series will serve as a commercial for various Marvel NOW! series explore some of the lingering questions left over from the AvX event. The cover shows Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, and The Thing standing over a defeated Cyclops, which takes away any suspense about how the event, which just saw its penultimate issue released yesterday (along with a press release spoiling the issue), will end.

All of this is part of Marvel's new initiative to spoil their own comics through press releases, as if to say that the comics themselves don't actually matter. And why should they? They're just silly funny books. This is journalism, dammit. Here's the press release:
