I love finding a truly scary and suspensful horror movie, but they seem hard to come by.  Ethan Hawke plays a crime novelist that finds a box of old movies from previous owners of the house he moves into that pull his family into a waking nightmare.  Sinister is from the same producer that brought us Paranormal Activity (meh) and the writer-director of The Exorcism of Emily Rose (yay).
