In Marvel's epic Avengers Vs. X-Men event, we've seen Marvel's heroes commit a number of unforgivable atrocities. There was Captain America's fascism and disregard for basic human rights when he brought an army to the sovereign nation of Utopia in order to wrongly imprison a minor for a crime she might possibly commit in the future. There was Wolverine's attempted murder of that same child. There was Thor, a Norse god, physically assaulting minors who were playing video games. And, of course, there has been the spolierific world-conquering villainy of the Phoenix Force powered X-Men, Namor, Magick, Colossus, Emma Frost, and Cyclops, which we will not print here in case you want to read the shocking events of Avengers vs. X-Men for yourself. Suffice to say, someone bit the dust, and his name rhymes with... well, actually, we can't think of anything his name rhymes with.

Anyways... if you thought that was bad, wait until you see this! Continuing the epic struggle between evil and more evil that has raged through the Marvel Universe, the conflict will now spill over into the world of babies, as both teams have apparently enlisted child soldiers that look and have the powers of their adult counterparts to fight their battles. Cyclops, dastardly villain that he is, will probably lead the kids into battle himself, while Captain America, preferring not to get his hands dirty, is expected to enlist the newest Avenger, Kony, to lead the team. A-Babies Vs. X-Babies #1 is on sale on October 24, and while Chris Eliopoulis' variant cover to the series by creative team Skottie Young and Gurihiru may make it look cute and cartoonish, we're sure that the horrific decimation of underage warriors will shock the Marvel Universe for years to come.
