Toonami Expands to Six Hours

The animated action block on Adult Swim just took over more time slots. Plus two "new" shows will be shown.
On his Twitter, Jason DeMarco, VP of strategic marketing for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, did his usual Toonami updated as he tweeted several posts earlier this morning:
...from midnight-6am, without repeating from 3a-6a. I'm happy to announce that we will also be running the great SYM-BIONIC TITAN, and...
...the also great new THUNDERCATS! Also, BEBOP will make it's return, running from 5a-6a. Finally, this Saturday we'll start running......
a new lineup spot that gives you the whole rundown, which will air every night for a whole. Hope this news makes you guys as happy...
So there you have it, Toonami adds the cult animated hit Sym-Bionic Titan and is it canceled/on hiatus the new Thundercats. This reporter personally thinks this is good news and a welcome one. Besides Japanese animation, American animation was also a cornerstone on the block and having both these shows back could actually mean something.
Namely, if these shows are watched a lot this could mean a second chance. No better example I can given than Big O which originally was just a one season show before it claimed HUGE ratings for Cartoon Network on Toonami. So much, that Cartoon Network co-financed a second season. So those fans who hunger for the return of both these shows? THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!
Regardless, this continues on the promise DeMarco made after Toonami returned that he had a few things up his sleeve. Sure enough the return of two shows that deserve a lot more viewership love. Now there's only one more show Cartoon Network has to return to Toonami via reruns to make this reporter happy:
