From a convention in Montreal, Sir Patrick Stewart answered a fan question about him playing Professor X again with a yes.
According to our good buddies Newsarama, Patrick Stewart was asked at the Montreal Comic Convention by a fan if there was a possibility that he would be be reprising his role as Professor X. He aswered, "Yes, I think there's every possibility," and went on to mention several of his costars from earlier X-Men films:
Halle Berry! Famke Janssen! Rebecca Stamos! Anna Paquin! Yes, I’ll be reprising..
It will be interesting to see what comes of this since X3 was considered by most a failure and the mutant franchise was somewhat successfully rebooted with "X-Men FIrst Class". Perhaps Stewart has signed on and isn't necessarily sure of how official the others he named are? Since Famke's character is dead in the X3 universe, and we all know Jean Grey never comes back to life, her name would be an odd one in the list.

About the Author - Jeremy Shane
Jeremy was born in a small mountain village of a strange foreign land called Weystvurginea. Banishment for liberal views saw him spend years wondering the east coast until he decided to bike to California. When he saw how long a trip it was, he drove instead. Now he's living it up in a low humidity climate, sometimes working on his photography and when not, he writes for us covering books (by way of his blog: Reading Realms), gaming, tv, movies, comics, conventions in the SoCal area, and creates a weekly webcomic: A Journey Through Skyrim. If you look for him offline, start in the L.A. area; online start at: www.jeremyshane.info for his profile and all the social networks he's on... or just follow him on twitter, he seems to be on there a lot: @jeremyshane.
