Cho is writing a very angry Wolverine.
Surprising absolutely no one, Marvel announced that Frank Cho would be writing and drawing a new Wolverine series. The title, Savage Wolverine, will feature Wolverine teaming up with Shanna the She-Devil in the Savage Land. On top of his roles of leader of the Avengers and X-Men, headmaster of the Jean Grey School, and member of fifteen different teams, Wolverine will somehow squeeze in time for an extended vacation in a land filled with dinosaurs and boobtastic cave-women.
In an interview, Cho stated that the story was a mix of Cthulhu and Indiana Jones elements, which sounds awesome despite the fact that the story stars a Canadian. He also hinted that the two characters would end up in some sort of romantic relationship, which certainly throws a wrench in the Wolverine/teenage Jean Grey tension in All New X-Men.
Cho's allegedly been developing the series since April, which means that readers should see at least three issues before delays inevitably hit.
