New Peanuts Movie In The Works

Good grief! Fox and Blue Sky Studios will be bringing a new Peanuts movie to the big screen in 2015.

A new animated Peanuts film will be coming to theaters on the propertiy's 65th anniversary, November 25, 2015. Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios (Ice Age, Rio, Doctor Seuss' Horton Hears A Who!) will produce the the new film franchise.

Steve Martino (Ice Age: Continental Drift, Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who!) will be directing from a screenplay by Craig Schulz, Peanuts creator Charles Schulz's son. Both Craig Schulz and Charles Schulz's grandson Bryan Schulz are involved with the project.

The last Peanuts feature film was Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown in 1980. No word yet if Boom! Studios will have a comic tie-in.
