Scott Allie has been named Dark Horse's Editor in Chief.  Allie will continue to edit the popular Buffy and Hellboy franchises and will taken on more troubleshooting and coordinating responsibilities with the publisher.  In an interview with CBR, Allie mentioned that his new position will allow the company to better promote series and better coordinate the publishing schedule of various books so that Dark Horse books don't have to compete with one another for attention.  He also mentioned that he'd continue to focus on creator-owned books in addition to the various licensed properties managed by the company.

On behalf of the Outhouse, we'd like to extend our congratulations to Mr. Allie.  He's a standup fellow and offers some refreshingly unique ideas about where the industry should go in the coming years.
