Excerpts from the DC Superman LIVE! Panel (Press Release DC Blog):

Superman will get is butt kicked in their first bout, and what happens next is "very interesting." That will be on sale.. "Soon" according to Bob Wayne.
"The main theme of this story is power, that power corrupts and power can fail you." Parasite is the villain of the story. "And they fight. A lot."
"Superman is a kid learning a lot of things, including the potential of his powers. A lot of people don't trust this guy in tights flying around above them."
Lastly, Berganza is talking about Superman: Earth One Volume 2, again by JMS and art by Shane Davis.
Snyder said "We're going to try to deliver to you the biggest and most kick-ass Superman story we can. I'm writing the features and the back-ups. It'll be big and gamechanging but have a lot of intimacy, a lot of American History. This is the Superman story I'd tell if I could only tell one before they kicked me right off."
Lee said, "2013 is the 75th anniversary of Superman, so we were talking about adding an additional book to the family. We were waiting for the right creative team to come along - I didn't hire myself I promise."
The pair will be working on a new Superman title that doesn't have an official name yet.
Mr. Jim Lee and Mr. Scott Snyder:
"We don't have a name for this one other Superman project we want to tell you about..."
Next up is Action Comics by Andy Diggle and Tony Daniel, who are meeting in person for the first time on the dais.
Supergirl will meet up with The Flash in her tie-in issues, which Johnson says will be called "The Fastest Girl on Earth"
Superboy will team up with Batman in the last act of the H'el on Earth, again, wearing Superman's armor.
He also promised some "experimenting with his powers" in the near future. Superboy Annual and another Superboy cover were shown, with Superboy wearing Superman's Kryptonian armor.
Berganza: "We have Supergirl coming in to help... or not. They're not one big happy Super family, and you'll see a lot of changes there in this story."
Berganza started talking about Superman and "H'EL ON EARTH." which will feature the Justice League coming to help out on something "really big."
The backup is "The most deranged thing you've ever seen, written by Max Landis."
The Action Annual will have "the new direction for Steel that no one was expecting," said Fisch. "It's got Luthor, it's got Lois, it's got Jimmy... And Superman and Kryptonite Man hit each other!"
Action Comics #15 will feature a "Super Doomsday," said Morrison, a combination of the two characters that makes Superman's life a bad place to be.

About the Author - IvCNuB4

IvCNuB4 likes to maintain an air of mystery by never publicly revealing his true name unless you are one of the four lucky Outhouse posters he has PM'd it to. A life-long Chicago native, he was introduced to comics by his older brother's vast collection of Silver Age issues. When he is not at his day job as an IT geek or making the most of Chicago's three months of incredible summer, he can found spending way too much time with his very large, very loud Italian family. You will never find him on the likes of Facebook or Twitter as he scoffs at the necessity of most forms of social media.
