No word on who will finish it for him.
Valiant Entertainment confirmed that J. Michael Straczynski will be writing a Shadowman movie script. Straczynski is best known for his work on the Babylon 5 television show and has also been involved with quality movies such as Ninja Assassin and Underworld: Awakening. He's also a prolific comic book writer, having abandoned acclaimed runs such as The Twelve, Superman, Thor, and Amazing Spider-Man before they ran their course, forcing long delays, hasty finishes, or a fill-in writer to finish his plotlines.
While there's no word on who would finish JMS's sure to be uncompleted script, it's rumored that Valiant has already been looking at backup script writers, just in case JMS gets distracted another property or a piece of foil.
