Image hosted its Image Comics Panel on Saturday at NYCC.  On the panel were Kieron Gillen, Andy Diggle, James Asmus,  Jim Visconte, Jim McCann and Jonathan Hickman along with Image publisher Eric Stephenson.  Here's some of the highlights of the panel.

-  Image announced a new Matt Fraction series entitled Sex Criminals. Chip Zdarsky will be on art. 

-  Howard Chaykin will have another project being released by Image called Midnight of the Soul.

-  Keiron Gillen announced a new series with Ryan Kelly called Three, which will focus on slaves fleeing Spartan soldiers.  He described the series as a new take on the Battle of Thermopolyae, popularized in Frank Miller's 300.

-  Andy Diggle and Jock were working on a new series called Snapshot, which focuses on a "comic book nerd" who discovers gruesome photos on a misplaced phone.  

-  Ales Kot will release two series: Zero and The Surface.

-  Jim McCann and Janet Lee will be working on a new sci-fi series called Lost Vegas.

-  James Asmus and Jim Festantewill be working on a series entitled The Life And Times Of Ben And Brahm.

-  Ken Kristensen will be releasing a new series called Todd, the Ugliest Kid in the World in January.  Stephenson described it as similar in tone to Chew.

-  East of West will be released by Jonathan Hickman and will feature futuristic versions of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse trying to kill the president of the United States.  Series will be released in April.  Nick Dragotta will be on art duties. 

-  Feel Better Now will be a graphic novel also by Hickman and will feature psychologists messing with their patients for fun.

-  Kelly Sue DeConnick and Emma Rios would be releasing a series called Pretty Deadly which will focus on a female character in a western setting. 

-  Paul Pope will be releasing a series called One Horse Trick.
