DC has quietly announced that Grifter has been cancelled as of issue #16. The series focused on Cash Cole shooting things and was one of the causes of Rob Liefeld's unceremonious departure from DC Comics. The book's final issue will be written by Frank Tieri. Over the course of sixteen issues, the series will have had three different writers.
This marks the second title cancelled by DC today. The first was Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E. Will there be a third? Our money's on Blue Beetle.
