Arrow isn't going anywhere. CW chose to pick up the television adaptation of Green Arrow for an additional nine episodes after the show's first two episodes received strong ratings, making it the first CW freshman show to get picked up for the full season. Arrow had the most-watched premiere of any CW show in the last three years and retained most of its audience last week.
Arrow features Stephen Arnell as a "grounded" version of Green Arrow, although the show is more heavily entrenched in DC lore than CW's Smallville. In the first two episodes, Arrow featured China White and Constantine Drakon, and the future episodes will be featuring DC villains Deadshot, Deathstroke, the Royal Flush Gang and Firefly.
