Frank Grillo is closing in on a role in the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The actor tweeted that he had visited LA in order to negotiate appearing in the upcoming film. While Grillo declined to mention what role he would be appearing in, several other sources linked him to the villainous Crossbones, AKA the man who shot Captain America. While not as well known as the man who shot Liberty Valence, Crossbones would be an interesting addition to the Marvel movieverse and would provide an easy out should Chris Evans ever want to retire from his role as the Star Spangled Avenger.
