Avengers Arena writer, Dennis Hopeless, has received a lot of flak for his Avengers Arena, a new series pitting teenage heroes against each other in a Hunger Games type of setting, but not enough it seems as he has created an This email address is being protected from spambots. Hundreds of Tumblr users are already hating on the series, a full two months before it hits stores, due to a preview image that shows X-23 attacking Hazmat, a supposedly popular character in the canceled Avengers Academy. Fans have jumped to the conclusion that Hazmat will be killed by X-23, as every character ever shown in mortal danger in a preview page has always died. Of course, if you believe what Tumblr says, Hopeless is just a friendless, bitter man who looks to destroy what others love to fill the empty void in his heart.
