So since Toonami returned, everyone been wondering why hasn't it aired old programming such as Megas XlR or IGPX? Well Jason DeMarco answers that very question!
When asked on Twitter about why hasn't shows like that haven't aired on Toonami given: A.) they're reruns and B.) reruns that people want to see, Jason DeMarco the executive at Cartoon Network who has been the brain behind Toonami's relaunch answered it.
Way the biz works. Let the rights go, just like IGPX and many other "failed" shows.
This bit of news sent a ripple effect as co-creator of Megas XLR, George Krstic looked into it and then tweeted this:
We got some info and will be getting the word out soon!
#Megasxlr Forever!
So will Krstic shop the show to another network say the Hub? Or does this mean at long last we can have an actual DVD collection of the show? Stay tuned as this reporter will find out and keep you all updated. Until then...
