Rumors are swirling that Guillermo del Toro plans to make a DC Comics team movie with Deadman, Constantine, Swamp Thing, Etrigan, and other DC supernatural characters!

Latino Review, the site that got in trouble a few months ago for posting leaked Guardians of the Galaxy news, just posted a delicious serving of movie rumors, and amongst them is this morsel that will be of particular interest to us comic book geeks: a Guillermo del Toro DC comics movie called Heaven Sent that teams some of DC's greatest supernatural characters. Basically, del Toro wants to make the DC supernatural version of The Avengers, and Warner Bros. wants to let him do it. Here's what LR had to say:
Called HEAVEN SENT he is combining all the magical beings from DC Comics in one epic adventure. Deadman, The Spectre, Swamp Thing, Constantine Hellblazer, Phantom Stranger, Zatanna, Zatara, and Sargon as well as Etrigan the Demon will team up to no doubt save us from the Stay Puft Marshmallow man. Now this one is a ways away, but Warner’s lawyers have been working every night trying to clear the rights to all these characters.
This is a leak or a rumor or whatever you want to call it, but Latino Review is usually pretty accurate. Del Toro has long been attached to a Deadman movie, so let's enjoy the speculation about how potentially awesome this could be before Warner has a chance to fuck it all up and make another Green Lantern.
