Marvel sent out a first look at Amazing Spider-Man #700, the final issue of the series before it is relaunched as Superior Spider-Man. As we all know from
reading the forbidden spoilers to Amazing Spider-Man #698 several days ago waiting diligently for Amazing Spider-Man #698 to hit comic stores today and then reading it, Peter Parker has switched bodies with the dying Doctor Octopus, and Doc Ock will be taking on the role of Spider-Man in Superior Spider-Man.
And now, The Outhouse will attempt to break the world record for most sarcastic sentence ever written in a comic book news article. Here we go.
In Amazing Spider-Man #700, the final issue of the series that is both necessary to attract new readers and a permanent decision that will not revert back to original numbering the next time a milestone opportunity occurs, Uncle Ben makes his annual posthumous appearance to give Peter some sage advice as Peter meets all of his dead friends and relatives in a touching scene that is not at all cliche or overused, putting a fitting, respectful, and memorable cap on what most fans agree is one of the most epic, thoughtful, and original runs of all time by the esteemed and handsome creative genius, Dan Slott.
Yeah, I think we've got it.
