Joel Edgerton, Jack Huston, Jim Sturgess, Lee Pace, Eddie Redmayne, Garrett Hedlund, and James Marsden are rumored to be in line to play Peter Quinn in Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

Deadline is reporting that Disney is interested in Joel Edgerton (Warrior), Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas), Lee Pace (Twilight), Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables), Garrett Hedlund (Tron Legacy), and James Marsden (X-Men) for the role of Peter Quinn, a.k.a. Starlord, the leader of the team. The first five men have reportedly signed test deals with the studio. The story has been reported by multiple outlets, banking on the strategy that by naming 50% of the eligible actors in Hollywood, the chances of the rumor being correct are very high.
Guardians of the Galaxy will be directed by James Gunn, a known misogynist. The Outhouse asked Gunn for comment on the rumors, but he would only respond by asking us to show him our tits.
Guardians of the Galaxy is due in theaters in 2014, by which time Gunn will hopefully be in jail for his crimes against humanity.
