Mortal Kombat Legacy 2 to Debut in Late 2013

The date on when the second season of the web series, Mortal Kombat: Legacy has been announced along with the cast for it.

Today Warner Brothers released an official press release on Mortal Kombat: Legacy Season 2. The web series will be exclusively shown on the You Tube channel, Machinima and it will be debuting in the third quarter of 2013. Kevin Tancharoen will returns to direct and write. He'll be joined by on the writing team with Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson.
The cast for this season will have a few recurring faces from the previous and even one face who's reprising his role from the original 1995 live action movie. For the later Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa will be taking on the role of Shang Tsung once again. Joining him will be Harry Shum, Jr. as Kuai Liang decribed as a "warlord adviser", Casper Van Dien as Johnny Cage, Brian Tee as Liu Kang, Mark Dacascos as Kung Lao, and Ian Anthony Dale once again as Scorpion.
No word yet if Jeri Ryan or Michael Jai White would be reprising their roles of Sonya Blade or Jax from Season One. Nor if they'll somehow fit in this epic tune associated with the property as well into the show:
