Frank no know whether to feel happy or sad. Today, Frank learn that Matt Kindt, who wrote Frank last book at DC Comics, Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E., will begin writing Martian Manhunter backup in Justice League of America, starting with issue #2. On one hand, Frank happy for friend, as writing backup in JLA book is big deal. On other hand, Frank can't help but be little hurt, as Martian Manhunter kind of like Frankier version of Frank. Both Frank and Manhunter green, and both afraid of fire. Why Matt Kindt no bring Frank to JLA backup instead? Frank no good enough? Frank too fat? Matt no love Frank anymore?
On third hand (Frank no limited to two hands - is benefit of being monster cobbled together from spare body parts), Frank is no worried, since DC have big meetings this week and will probably fire everyone and reboot universe again by beginning of next year.
Head to MTV Geek to read interview with Kindt, though Frank copy best part of interview and paste below:
Geek: You basically just touched on this, but in terms of limitations; Is he still afraid of fire? Are we going to see the bad guys hide out in a candle shop and be impervious to him, or something like that?
Kindt: [Laughs] I don’t know if we’re going to get much more than that. If anything, the first few stories we’re just going to establish how scary he is. It’s almost like Dr. Manhattan, this guy is crazy scary: he can do anything. I want to establish that first, and then we can establish how he can be beaten.
