The writer has been hinting at a new DC series.
Jeff Lemire has sent out some intriguing tweets the last few days. The Animal Man writer first teased that he was working on a new DC series with Ray Fawkes. Now he's begun to tweet pictures of classic Teen Titans characters, including Raven, Beast Boy, and Terra, with no explanation given
All three characters have already appeared in the New 52. Raven made an appearance in the first issue of Dan Didio's The Phantom Stranger, while both Beast Boy and Terra appear on the soon to be cancelled Ravagers series. Scott Lobdell also hinted that he was working on a new Teen Titans spinoff featuring Raven that would debut later this year and would tie into Teen Titans #25.
So what could the hints be? Will Lemire be taking over Teen Titans, much in the same manner that he rescued Green Arrow earlier this year? Is it his new Ray Fawkes collaboration? Or is he just fucking around with fans? Only time will tell...
