DC has cancelled DC Universe Presents, the anthology series that helped flesh out various secondary DC characters in its rebooted continuity. The series featured stories focusing on Black Lightning, Deadman, and Starfire written and drawn by a bevy of second-tier talent. When asked for a comment, an unnamed DC executive told the Outhouse explained why the series had been cut. "We were surprised to learn last month that we hadn't cancelled it a year ago," said the executive. "I guess that everyone just forgot it was there."
No word on what will replace the series, but there's a Scott Snyder/Jim Lee Man of Steel series that'd be a safe bet.
