THR is reporting that Chris Cooper (The Muppets) has signed on to play Norman Osborn in the Amazing Spider-Man 2. Cooper joins an already villain heavy cast with Jaime Foxx as Electro and Paul Giamatti as the Rhino. So it's safe to assume that Cooper won't be going all Green Goblin until the very end of the movie or if there is a third movie.
Amazing Spider-Man 2 will hit theaters in May 2, 2014
