TOM and the Absolution are getting a makeover. Plus two new programs join the Toonami block along with other questions that are answered.
At MomoCon today there was a Toonami panel and several questions were asked along with several HUGE bits of Toonami news. First up, TOM's new look (the Absolution and the logo will also be getting a new looks as well):
Toonami also uploaded an entire video of the full on look of the new TOM. As for how the character gets the new redesign, Toonami said that a new digital comic will explain the new look comes about. As for when we'll be seeing the new look, it'll be arriving in late April.
Now the two new programs that'll air on Toonami. First up is the animated movie Evangelion: 1.11 You are (Not) Alone. The movie will premiere March 17 at 1 am Eastern Standard Time. No word if Toonami will air the other three Evangelion movies. Also a new series will be debuting on Toonami. This past month we found out Soul Taker would be joining the line-up. Now starting VERY soon One Piece will be joining Toonami. No word though what episode they'll start airing, or will they be re-airing the first hundred episodes that have been redubbed a few years ago by Funanimation.
Though with some good news comes some bad news. As you know next week will be the final episodes of Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series. Though the later wasn't asked the former was and the answer was, no.
