Is that any way to run a business?
Source: Four Weekly Comics In The DC New 52 From October? That’s The Rumour…
Yesterday, internet comic book rumor king, Rich Jonston, reported that there is a rumor that DC, a capitalistic comic book producer, might possibly be thinking about canceling up to 16 “low selling books.” Not only would DC stop producing books that they make little to no money on, but there is also a chance that this will lead to DC returning to….
weekly comics.
That’s right, if DC cancels 16 comics, those book might be replaced by four weekly anthologies one for each of the comic book universe’s ‘families’ of books: Superman, Batman, Justice League, and Green Lantern. DC has had very good success with weekly books including 52 and Wednesday Comics, both of which were good, and Countdown to Final Crisis, which was a big pile of crap that made this writer physically angry at DC for creating such a waste of time and talent.
EDIT - Forum poster and all around good guy, chap22, reminded me that there was another weekly comic:
DC also published Busiek & Bagley's Trinity as a weekly, to mixed reception. personally, I liked it, but it wasn't anything special.
The mass cancellation and switch to weekly series is tentatively scheduled to take place after whatever DC’s next event is and might-should-happen in October, at least according to Rich’s sources AKA Rich dressed up as Darth Didio’s secretary his wife doesn’t approve of.
Or not, who really knows at this point? Instead, here's a video of my son responding correctly to "Nene nene nene nene." Enjoy:

Before you send RU a message, he knows that there are misspelled words in this article, and probably in this bio he was asked to write. RU wants everyone to know that after 25+ years of collecting he still loves comic books and can’t believe how seriously fanboys take them.
