Colin Trevorrow will be directing the third sequel to the dinosaur franchise.
Universal has announced that they have found a director for their upcoming Jurassic Park 4, and that director is Colin Trevorrow. Trevorrow made his feature debut in last year's very good Safety Not Guaranteed, which starred Aubrey Plaza and Mark Duplass.
Jurassic Park 4 is scheduled for a summer 2014 release. We're hoping for a return to the John Sayles script from a few years ago which featured an extinction team comprised of human/dinosaur hybrids. The project went so far as to have some preliminary designs made up for said hybrids.
