Source: Bruce Timm Taking Break....But Returning With More JUSTICE LEAGUE
ComicBookMovie has kicked off the rumormongering following Bruce Timm's departure as head of Warner Bros. Animation, which we reported on yesterday. According to the site, Timm's reason for stepping down is to focus on a Justice League: The Animated Series cartoon set in the Timmverse, the same universe where other popular animated series like Batman: TAS and Justice League Unlimited take place. They seem to cite Gary Miereanu, a publicist whose clientele includes Warner Bros., as a source, but all Miereanu has really said is that Timm will be returning when the time is right "in a big way" for Warner.
@martinmccallion Bruce Timm is stepping away from the DCU Animated Original Movies for a bit ... but he'll be back - in a very big way.— Gary Miereanu (@SuperPRGuy) March 29, 2013
RT #BruceTimm continues his amazing work at Warner Bros. He's only taking a break from DCU films to develop more of the stuff you love.— Gary Miereanu (@SuperPRGuy) March 30, 2013
