In an incredibly startling move today, Smgo.TV announced the cancellation of the crowd-funded attempt to bring back the two popular animated series. When asked why Dave, the administrator for the website, refused to comment just announcing a statement simply via their tumblr (here's a partial portion of the full statement which you can view in the link):

It's with a heavy heart that I have to announce that the crowdfunded operations to bring back Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series are canceled. I could say more, but you'll learn in a few days as to why the project to bring back both series has been halted.

#Motorcity, #DTTBIA23, #666PA fans, we haven’t given up the fight your shows either, and we will keep fighting the good fight until they come back.

Even with this small trip. We shouldn't give up at all. We should keep fighting, keep being awesome, and keep showing interest on Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook - let’s save these shows together.

A full statement can be found at the links above.  One has to wonder what or whom could be responsible for such an act to make Smgo.Tv to cancel all crowd-funding attempts. Be sure to visit the links above.

In response to the statement, fans of Green Lantern and Young Justice gathered to release a statement of their own, saying of the beloved shows: "We've known each other for so long. Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it. Inside we both know what's been going on. We know the game and we're gonna play it.

"And if you ask me how I'm feeling," the statement continued. "Don't tell me you're too blind to see."

"Never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down. Never gonna run around and desert you," the statement concluded. "Never gonna make you cry. Never gonna say goodbye. Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you."
