The Outhouse has learned that ComicBookResources was forced to return the private yacht used to host ornate and sophisticated parties during ComicCon. The website was forced to take drastic actions after DC Comics cancelled the hit driving "B&B" column after CBR ran out of fluff questions to ask Bob Harras and Bobbi Chase and were instead forced to ask real questions.
"Ww-we earned one Eisner nomination," said CBR CEO Harold J. Asskisser in between sobs. "And we thought we would try our hands at actual comic book journalism. And now look at us! We're just another yachtless comic book website, just like those schlubs over at Newsarama."
While the full extent of CBR's financial troubles are unknown, it's believed that high place executives have been advised to only hire prostitutes without breast implants in an attempt to reel in spending.
"We'll never ask another real question again," vowed Asskisser solemnly. "I've tasted what real journalism tastes like and it tastes an awful lot like generic caviar. Never again."
The Outhouse is sponsored by Cinema Crazed: Celebrating Film Culture & Pop Culture.
