Bob Harras stormed out of his office and fired his secretary this morning after she asked him if he had remembered to wish his mother a happy birthday. According to reports, the DC editor in chief's secretary, Irene Hansen, walked into her boss's office and quietly asked him if he had called his mother that morning.
Harras's face turned red. "Did you run that question by Marketing first?" he asked angrily.
The secretary fearfully shook her head. Harras then angrily dialed up Alex Segura, DC's marketing chief but was only able to reach his voicemail. After forcing his secretary to repeat the question to Segura's voicemail, Harras stormed out of the office, angrily shouthing that he couldn't work in these conditions and angrily comparing the secretary to CBR. The comic book website had previously been involved in a spat with Harras and DC Comics after it had asked the editor questions not approved by DC's marketing department.
Harras later fired his secretary via email from a small coffee shop located across the street from DC's offices. He returned later that day to find that DC had already replaced his secretary. "Haven't I seen you before?" he asked her suspiciously.
"No," replied the new secretary, who looked suspiciously like Rich Johnston in a dress and wig. "You haven't, pip pip."
