Eurogamer has discovered a retailer offering Skyrim: Legendary Edition, with a release date of June 7th containing all the DLC add-ons. For fans that remember the wait, and rumors of release dates, for Dragonborn DLC, retailers are often known to create their own placeholders for games, so this may be all it is. It's obvious this isn't an actual cover, a closer look reveals that the Legendary Edition title is in a slightly different font and coloring.
Bethesda has yet to verify its existence, but with the recent announcement they were finished with Skyrim and moving on, releasing a collected edition makes sense. Perhaps it will be called the Legendary Edition with the last update containing the new feature allowing players to set difficulty to legendary.
Still sucks that they are done with Skyrim, but good news for fans waiting for the collected edition to dive into the game. The website listing it has the game priced at $53 for the 360 and PS3, and $44 for the PC, a pretty good deal assuming the price isn't just a placeholder as well. Stay tuned for more, we'll update this as soon as we get any official confirmation.
