Valiant Preview: Valiant Masters: Eternal Warrior Volume 1

Take a look at some Barry Windsor-Smith artwork from the earl 90's, with the original Eternal Warrior.

Source: Press Release

Here in the present, the current incarnation of Valiant just wrapped up an arc in Archer & Armstrong that introduced Gilad, the Eternal Warrior (the character is soon to show up in X-O Manowar). Well, back in the day of the original Valiant (before they were known nationwide as The Flyin' V), Gilad had his own book, and it was drawn by the great Barry Windsor-Smith. Don't remember? Miss out on those heady days? Well, you're in luck, because The Flyin' V has been taking on a trip in the ol' wayback machine with their Valiant Masters line of hardcovers that reprint a lot of that early material. So, if you thought Eternal Warrior was so cool the last couple of months, now you get to see the classic version.
