Munchkin fans you know the game motto: "Loot the room, steal the treasure, and back stab your friends!" All in great fun! Well, via MTV.Geek we've learned that we'll be soon get: THE MUNCHKIN BOOK from Smart Pop.

The book will be a series of essays from various authors (including John Kovalic, the artist of the cards) about the game. No word yet if posessing the book will bring a + or - to a simple game of Munchkin (but you know there will be a bonus somehow relayed to the game.. IT'S MUNCHKIN!)

This marks the second large foray the game will be having later this month with an X-BOX live game arriving late summer (COME ON PSN WHERE IS OUR MUNCHKIN GOODNESS?!)
