'Google Play Games' Leaks

'Google Play Games' leaks, revealing Android's home for invites, achievements, cloud saves and more.

Google's alternative to iOS's Game Center and Window's Games Hub was revealed last month, but now thanks to Android Police we know even more about it.

After digging into an Android component, Play Services, that is  used for updating Google apps, they uncovered a massive update getting ready to roll out for Google Play Games.  The teardown shows that the service will have support for system wide notifications, standardized notifications managed by Google+, cloud synced game saves working across multiple devices, plus the expected leaderboards, achievements, matchmaking, lobbies and more.

If you want to really get into the details, Android Police has a huge article detailing the pieces of code found.  Check it out here.
