Hoping to copy Marvel's strategy of double and triple shipping their top sellers, DC revealed that it would be publishing four issues of Batman in September, each of which focusing on a different villain. Batman #23.1 will focus on the Joker, Batman #23.2 will feature the Riddler, Batman #23.3 will star the Penguin and Batman #23.4 will center on Bane. Each book will have a different creative team, with Andy Kubert, Scott Snyder, Ray Fawkes, Frank Tieri and Pete Tomasi each writing an issue (Snyder and Fawkes are co-writing), and art provided by Jeremy Haun, Christian Duce and Graham Nolan.
Like the rest of DC's books in September, each will have a special 3D cover which will jack the price up by $3.99.
Covers and solicits can be found over at CBR, which can be reached at the link above.
