I guess this is supposed to be a big deal or something.
It's official, Man of Steel doesn't suck! Or at least, that's what Warner Bros. has decided, as early tracking has the movie scoring big this weekend. Deadline is reporting that Warner Bros. is fasttracking a Man of Steel sequel, with Snyder and Goyer reprising their roles as director and screenwriter. Chris Nolan will also be involved in some capacity, although it's unclear if the producer will have as big of a role in the sequel due to other commitments.
Oh, and Deadline also mentions that WB has plans for a little indie flick called Justice League, which will feature Superman and has been plotted by the company.
So, this is a big day for WB and DC, it seems. Good on them.
