MAD SUPER SPECTACULAR: SUPERMAN, MAN OF STEEL Hits Stands Today!
Source: DC Blog
From a Press Release at the DC Blog:
Commemorating Superman’s 75th anniversary, MAD has come up with their own special magazine-sized summer one-shot that collects some of their most beloved Superman-centric parodies, gags, spoofs, and more!
“MAD has a long, and widely respected history of standing up for truth, justice and the American way. Now that our own company has come up with a superhero dedicated to the same things, a partnership seemed like a natural,” MAD editor John Ficarra told DC.
For more from Ficarra about MAD SUPER SPECTACULAR: SUPERMAN, MAN OF STEEL, read the full interview he recently conducted with POPMATTERS.
This collector’s issue also features seven pages of all-new content that pays a distinctly MAD tribute to Man of Steel, the highly anticipated film that’ll be hitting theaters this weekend.
Be sure to also check out the exclusive previews of the issue that ran in SLASH FILM, MTV GEEK, and AIN’T IT COOL NEWS.
MAD SUPER SPECTACULAR: SUPERMAN, MAN OF STEEL flies onto newsstands today. The issue is also available digitally via MAD’s iPad app!

About the Author - IvCNuB4
IvCNuB4 likes to maintain an air of mystery by never publicly revealing his true name unless you are one of the four lucky Outhouse posters he has PM'd it to. A life-long Chicago native, he was introduced to comics by his older brother's vast collection of Silver Age issues. When he is not at his day job as an IT geek or making the most of Chicago's three months of incredible summer, he can found spending way too much time with his very large, very loud Italian family. You will never find him on the likes of Facebook or Twitter as he scoffs at the necessity of most forms of social media.
