This marks the third...fourth time that the books have crossed over in the last year?!

Bleeding Cool is reporting that the Green Lantern titles will crossover for a third time this year in an event entitled Lights Out. This marks the third time in the last year that the Green Lantern books have crossed over with one another, following The Rise of the Third Army and Wrath of the First Lantern.
DC seems obsessed with the crossovers as of late, whether it's Night of the Owls and Death of the Family over in the Batbooks, the Rise of H'el in the Superbooks, the Black Diamond crossover between all the soon to be cancelled/already cancelled series, the Trinity War and Rise of Atlantis JL crossovers or the linewide Villains Month and Zero Month events.
Marvel does this too, of course (Wolverine and the X-Men has had as many crossovers issues with events than it has independent issues), but it feels that DC can't go a single month without a lot of their top-sellers crossing over, especially during this last year.
Now, this rumor hasn't been confirmed, but if it's true (and BC's been spot-on about this stuff recently), I think it'll be time to have a crossover intervention at DC.
