Hello Kitty and the Justice League will be teaming up to steal money out of parents' wallets. Sanrio and Warner Bros. announced that the companies had reached an agreement that will see Hello Kitty appear on various merchandise dressed as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. The move is seen as a great way to expose young children to DC's superheroes and develop new non-traditional superhero fans.
Man of Steel spoilers follow in the joke below.
However, we don't know whether Sanrio will try to synergize the Hello Kitty/Justice League line with the rest of DC's property. Personally, I'd love to buy my little girl a t-shirt featuring SuperHello Kiity snapping General Zod Hello Kitty's while making out with Wonder Hello Kitty. I guess we'll just have to wait until next year to find out.
