Source: Comic-Con: NBCUniversal Developing Digital Comics for '80s and '90s TV Shows
NBCUniversal is betting on several 80s and 90s television properties can spark some interest and are bringing them to comics in digital form. They are enlisting Lion Forge Comics to help them with this endeavor.
Titles will include:
- Knight Rider
- Miami Vice
- Punky Brewster
- Saved by the Bell
Joelle Sellner, Jonathan London, Geoffrey Thorne, and David Gorden are some of the writers that will be handling the properties. Jason Johnson, Carl Reed, and Lorenzo Lizana will be handling art duites. The comics will be launching later (Q3, Q4) this year for Amazon Kindle, Apple iBooks, Barnes & Noble Nook, and Kobo.
If you want to find out more Lion Forge Comics will be at San Diego Comic-Con in a panel on July 20.
