If there's one thing all comic book fans can agree on, it's that there aren't enough Marvel comic books featuring Wolverine. Marvel understands the needs and desires of its audience, and they're taking the first step today in rectifying that situation with the release of Wolverine: Japan's Most Wanted, a new Infinite Comic in which "blockbuster creators Jason Aaron, Jason Latour and Paco Diaz send Wolverine back to the Far East with a giant target on his back." Wolverine: Japan's Most Wanted represents the first time Marvel has given fans brand new, weekly digital comics content, and to commemorate this milestone, The Outhouse sat down with a fictional version of superstar writer Jason Aaron to talk about it.
"Awwwwwwww yeeeaaaahhhh," said Aaron in a deep, sultry voice as he lounged on a sofa in his dimly lit office, wearing a red velvet AC/DC robe as Marvin Gaye's Sexual Healing played on his stereo. "You know you wanted more Wolverine, baby. You can't get enough Wolverine."
"I know I can't," he added, whispering.
Aaron never broke eye contact as he took a sip of white wine. He ran his finger along the rim of the glass as he continued. "I like to think of writing a Wolverine comic like making love."
Feeling slightly uncomfortable, we asked Aaron if he could tell us a little bit about the comic itself.
"Oh yeah, right, the comic. Sure." Aaron agreed. "We're gonna take Wolverine back to Japan to explore his roots as a samurai, a warrior of honor. He'll face off against a lot of his classic villains, like Sabretooth."
"In the course of those battles, he'll probably get pretty sweaty, you know?" Aaron explained, somewhat unnecessarily. "I mean, spandex is naturally cooling, but I imagine he'll work up quite a musk. All that hair covering his stocky, muscular body."
"Mmmmmm," Aaron elaborated.
But it can't all be about fighting. Does Wolverine have a love interest in this book?
"What?!" asked a jealous Aaron. "What have you heard? Who is it?"
Nothing like that, we were just wondering.
"Oh," Aaron said, his eyes darting around nervously. "Good."
Aaron sipped his wine and took a bite out of a chocolate covered strawberry.
We decided to leave him to his "creative process." Wolverine: Japan's Most Wanted is available in Marvel's digital comics store right now.
