Marvel formally announced Cataclysm: The Ultimates Last Stand, which will pit the Ultimates against the mainstream "616" version of Galactus. Galactus was originally moved into the Ultimate universe after Age of Ultron, and longtime Ultimate Spider-Man team Brian Bendis and Mark Bagley will bring that storyline to its conclusion. While Cataclysm features the Ultimates on the first cover, Bendis said that Miles Morales will have the largest storyarc in the book.
The series will run five issues with an epilogue. Bendis has hinted that it will lead to (yet another) status quo change in the Ultimate Universe, but didn't specifically mention the line ending.
