A few hours after SDCC, of course a bit Godzilla news would get to have the final word for the night. These pair of pictures have sprung up on Tumblr and 4Chan. They haven't been confirmed as real or not yet. Here they are for what they're worth:
On the eve of SDCC, images sprang up of a Godzilla design sighted at the Godzilla Encounter. These were latter said by Legendary reps to have been concept designs and not the final approved design Legendary Pictures would be using in their re-imagining of the classic Toho Monster. This just adds to the shadow for many Godzilla fans the appearance has cast over SDCC. It all began with a "tweeted" picture of this was shown floating around Godzilla fan-sites:
Nothing ever came of the reveal, so what's going? Of course Legendary gave us their official teaser picture too. So your guess is as good as this reporter's at this time. We'll keep you updated on this developing story.
